Asiluum.com presents one of the most awaited experimental albums of the year, “148 Light Years” by one of the strangest romanian acts, Discordless.

After 5 years, Discordless returns with a darker, noisier and even more uncategorizable album than its debut ep “Deprived of Oxygen”.

Impredictable and imperfect by excellence, “148 Light Years” features a heavy sound evolved from its industrial begginings into an unique combination of ambients, noise, drones and electronic madness.

The artwork is painted using mixed-media techniques by prolific artist Costin Chioreanu of Twilight13Media who also makes a guest appearance on this record as a guitar player.

“148 Light Years” is a collective effort of Marius Costache(noise), Ana Roman(piano), Costin Chioreanu(guitar), Jeno Havelaar(noise) and Razvan Raduta(drums) and it was produced, mixed and mastered by Marius Costache.

Out 15 october on Asiluum on free download as usual and a CD release party to be held on 17 october 2009 in Studio Bar / Bucharest, 8pm.
