The Asiluum clinic brings you the debut EP of Ohio’s Mephitic Husk. One single track of aproximately 14 minutes of post-black, sludge and experimental madness, Esoterra ( a combination of the stand alone words “esoteric” and “terra” ), can loosely be taken to mean land of special enlightenment, or land of the enlightened.  For 2010 you can of course expect a full release on asiluum but just for this time of the year we thought on making you a little present with this special track. Turn it up real loud and enjoy your holidays!

Cred ca acelasi lucru se poate spune si despre 148 Light Years, cel mai nou produs semnat Discordless lansat in data de 17 octombrie sub egida Asiluum Records. Discul nu e pentru oricine, asta e clar, nu e copie dupa magnatii de afara, cum e bunul obicei la noi, sau cine stie ce muzica despre traditiile si datinile stramosilor caci deodata suntem toti patrioti. Nici macar nu are treaba cu metalul desi in esenta atmosfera este comparabila cu produse din aria post-metal sau experimental.

After 5 years, Discordless returns with a darker, noisier and even more uncategorizable album than its debut ep “Deprived of Oxygen”.

Impredictable and imperfect by excellence, “148 Light Years” features a heavy sound evolved from its industrial begginings into an unique combination of ambients, noise, drones and electronic madness.

The artwork is painted using mixed-media techniques by prolific artist Costin Chioreanu of Twilight13Media who also makes a guest appearance on this record as a guitar player.

“148 Light Years” is a collective effort of Marius Costache(noise), Ana Roman(piano), Costin Chioreanu(guitar), Jeno Havelaar(noise) and Razvan Raduta(drums) and it was produced, mixed and mastered by Marius Costache.

“Departures”, is the debut album from romanian electronic artist Contorsionist.

He previously made music under the moniker Blindpixel and some of you may already know his music from shows all across Romania and even Bulgaria; however “Departures” was composed especially for Asiluum and features four songs never heard live before. The artwork is hand drawn by Oana Dragan. Audio mastering by Marius Costache.
